The 50-year professional journey of interior architect and designer Raşit Karaaslan was celebrated with a special exhibition at Furnishings & Design Istanbul, held at the Istanbul Expo Center from 25 to 27 September 2025. “50 Years in Pursuit of Excellence” brought Karaaslan's value-added design philosophy to life through selected desks created with MOBİ, the brand marking its 40th anniversary.

Beginning with Rhapsody (1995), the selection continued with Next, Corona, Canna, April, Castle, Aria, Stockholm and Versus, reaching the present day with Canyon (2025). Each piece combined the character of natural wood, refined detailing and masterful craftsmanship within a form that was both functional and sculptural.

More than a retrospective, the exhibition revealed MOBİ's internationally recognised design language and its commitment to creating enduring value beyond passing trends. Every desk redefined the workspace as a personal, sophisticated and lasting living experience.
