Sini coffee table, designed by Raşit Karaaslan, has won iF Product Design Award 2009, in the design competition organized by iF International Forum Design. Karaaslan is the founder and designer of MOBI, a furniture and interior design company founded in 1983 and based in Bursa, Turkey. iF is renowned worldwide as an institution that sets the standards for superior design. Top companies from a variety of industries participate in the competition in which an international jury of design experts evaluate the entries according to criteria such as quality of design, functionality, workmanship, choice of material, innovation, universality, environmental compatibility. Sini is a round coffee table that can be divided into five pieces. Each piece can be used as an individual service table. Sini’s form is not fixed: Its pieces can be brought together to create different shapes. Its unique design makes it a versatile product both in function and form. The table top is made of natural wood veneer over MDF, and the legs are of stainless steel. The diameter is 120 cm and the height is 38 cm.
